Steps to reproduce:

Allowed Firefox to automatically update to the latest version


Actual results:

Firefox automatically updated to the latest version AND deleted all pinned tabs upon restart


Expected results:

Firefox should have automatically updated without deleting all pinned tabs

Did the tabs completely disappear (not just became unpinned)?

Completely disappeared from the browser bar.
Did not think to check whether they had also disappeared from Firefox history as they are automatically refreshed at startup - Despite the fact that my standing data specifically selects don't refresh tabs at startup :-)

The Bug 1166238 is triage.

The pinned tabs are not deleted.

Because in my computer automatic updates is done but all the pinned tabs are not deleted.

Update Firefox 51.0b12 from Firefox 50.0.2.

After update the browser open with the tabs pinned are also opened.

I have been informed you need more information but I don't see anything to indicate what information it is that you require. In all honesty, I haven't noticed - in fact I had even forgotten about - the misbehaviour for quite some time and as the situation was reported almost two years ago it's conceivable the bug has been cleared by an intermediate update. I can confirm that I am using the latest (automatically updated) version 51.0 and am not experiencing any further issues.

I have the same issue. Every time when Firefox is updated my pinned tabs are gone.
